Mizuno Wave – A unique technology that combines two distinctly different elements that are both inherently necessary in great running shoes, cushioning and stability. Excessive force and stress is placed upon the body during the act of running, it is therefore imperative to have the correct blend of cushioning and stability to minimise the risk of injury.  The wave plate provides excellent cushioning by dispersing the force of impact across a larger surface area.

X10 - Provides the most durable carbon rubber from Mizuno that allows for longer wear in high impact areas and provides more traction at heel strike.

Mizuno Intercool - Mizuno Intercool solves the problem of heat and humidity build-up in a running shoe, by incorporating a full-length ventilation system in the sole of the shoe that removes heat and humidity from the foot through a system of ventilation channels.

G3 Sole - A new performance outsole component that enhances traction where needed most and reduces weight.

DynaMotion Fit – Developed by the revolutionary Sozo Studio. Extensive high speed video analysis showed how shoes distort in the collar and heel counter during the gait cycle resulting in loss of fit and causing heel slippage. The DynaMotion Fit system allows the upper of the shoe to interact with the movement of the foot. This relieves the stress on the upper which causes the distortion and results in fit being maintained throughout the full range of the movement.

Sensor Point – Mizuno’s revolutionary suspension system, which uses studs that connect the Wave Plate directly to the ground, thereby enhancing stability and traction.

Outsole – Rubber forefoot plate can be used on the track or the trail.

Spike Plate – Smooth ride Engineered, solid rubber forefoot outsole design for durability and flexibility.

Pebax – Wave plate constructed from Pebax Rnew, which is made from plant based oil which is sustainable and produces less carbon while retaining all performance characteristics.

VS-1 – Absorbs shock and enhances cushioning properties by resisting compression-set, thus extending the cushioning life of running shoes.

SmoothRide – Direct from Mizuno's Sozo Studio comes SmoothRide Engineering, the next generation in performance footwear design. Designed to minimise the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot through the phases of the running cycle by reducing shock and increasing flexibility.  This allows Mizuno to create running shoes that provides an extremely comfortable running experience through an even smoother ride.

Airmesh - Airmesh upper allows each running shoe from Mizuno to maintain a high standard of breathability for the life of the shoe, and allows the foot to stay cool.

SG Rubber – Sole compound with high grade of natural rubber for traction and durability.

Wet Traction – Bi-Directional outsole rubber synthetic leather compound breaks through water, improving grip in all conditions.

Gender Engineering – Based on biomechanical research into the differences between men’s and women’s gait. Mizuno constructs the Midsole/Outsole of each gender differently to improve the ride, performance and comfort.
