What is a Polycentric Hinged Knee Support?

LP Polycentric hinged knee support with pin stop mechanism. The geared hinge system means that the pivot point of the support changes with the knee as the knee bends for optimum support and comfort. The pin stop mechanism is adjusted enabling user to restrict the amount of flexion (bend) in the support. Hyperextension protection means the knee cannot be bent the wrong way.

What is it suitable for?

This is a specialist brace often used following knee surgery for example after an anterior cruciate ligament injury. We recommend seeking professional advice before using this brace as incorrect adjustment may cause injury.

What size do I need?

Sizing - measure around mid-section of the knee, whilst in a standing position:

Small = 13-14.25 inches
Medium = 14.25-15.75 inches
Large = 15.75 - 16.75 inches
X-Large = 16.75-18 inches
