Recent ankle sprains
Chronic or recurrant ankle sprains.
Ankle instability.
Preventing ankle sprains.

McDavid supports are graded I, II or III and this brace is a grade III - the maximum support level.

How does it work?

The McDavid 101 has solid plastic inserts down the side to provide a high level of support and protection.
Allows up and down movement (plantar and dorsi flexion) whilest preventing sideways (lateral) movement of the ankle.
The plastic inserts can be removed if I lower level of support is required later.
Replaces tape to support and prevent injuries.
Padded internal lining circles moisture away and increases compression.
Elastic heel and tongue.
Three layers of nylon vinyl fabric, steelspring stays, notched front, sewn in arch.

What size do I need?

Sizing: UK Shoe Size

XX-Small = 4.5 and under
X-Small = 4.5 to 7.5
Small = 7.5 to 8.5
Medium = 8.5 to 10.5
Large = 10.5 to 12.5
Extra Large = 13.5 +
