How does it work?

The Mueller Laced Ankle Brace - Pro Style inner ATF strap self-adjusts to each individual foot for superior protection against inversion sprains. Inner ATF® Strap extends over the Anterior Talofibular Ligament (the ligament most likely to be sprained or strained) for superior lateral support.
 
High strength 1000 denier polyester material (stronger than vinyl) eliminates the need for metal eyelets. Comfort Windows™ A single layer of fabric over ankles bones provides a more comfortable fit. Bi-directional stretch elastic (Pro Style) over the Achilles tendon allows complete plantar and dorsal flexion.
Flexible steel springs act like tendons to help reinforce both sides of the ankle.
