How does it work?

The PSB Ankle Brace is unique in that it does not inhibit normal movement while providing optimal support for the ankle joint. In addition the design takes account of the brace's volume. The ankle brace fits perfectly in sport shoes and combines well with shin pads.

Another benefit is provided by the sophisticated tape design, which immediately blocks the ankle joint if it threatens to move too far inwards, as is the case with most ankle traumas. The pale blue power net, which exerts the pressure around the ankle joint, can be individually adjusted.

1) Pull the sock over your foot. The gap in the brace for the heel can make it easier to put on the sock.
2) Put the plastic stiffener under the centre of the heel making sure it is not under the hollow of the foot.
3) Put your foot on the floor at an angle of 90 degrees to your lower leg.
4) Take the back tape marked(through the last eye of the stiffener. Tighten the tape and fasten the Velcro. Ensure the stiffener stays vertical.
5) Now take the front tape marked through the front eye of the stiffener, and fasten it. If the stiffener presses against your ankle bone you will need to adjust the tapes.
6) Fasten the pale blue power net and hold the part with the soft Velcro against your ankle.
7) Adjust the tension of the power net using the end of the hard Velcro and fasten.

What size do I need?

Measure diagonally around the heel and ankle, i.e. over the instep and behind the heel

S = 27-30cm (10.5-11.75 inches)
M = 30-33cm (11.75-13 inches)
L = 33-36cm (13-14.25 inches)
XL = 36-40cm (14.25-15.75 inches)
